hariputar.

so i just came back from watching hariputar with the guys.

the movie was good.

but the stupid ugly buttheads next to me weren't.

mel gila!

one of them has already watched the movie.

so he was talking at the top of his lungs, explaining to his dimwitted friends about the movie.

not only the movie. he also explained from the first until the fifth.

talking loudly throughout the movie was one thing,

explaining all the wrong things was another!

plus, if they were explaining in normal language xpa lg.

it was the kampungest kedah accent i have ever heard.

and apparently, draco malfoy has changed his name to draco maFLoy.

but hey, that's not even close to the worst part.

halfway through the movie, came this... stench.

poop stench.

we all thought it was the baby in front of us.

but then.....

no it wasn't.

it was the stupid mel beside me,

who did not only farted.

but actually crapped in his own pants.

as soon as he noticed that we all were covering our noses,

he quickly stood up and went to the toilet.

when he stood up, the stench became more and more clear that he crapped.

even 5 minutes after he left, it was still smelly.

and HE IS NOT 3 YEARS OLD.

HE IS AT LEAST 22!

but other than that, it was a fun day.

bumper car with zahin was cool.

eventhough my knees hurt.

SBS BAND NUMBER ONE!

busy, busy, busy!

so 'the' week has finally come.

29th june,

debate - states.

lost at the first round.

to KSAH.

been hating them since last year.

really bummed out that we lost to them.

our substance, poi's and even format were waaaaayyy better than theirs.

they just won over style.

especially that dicky lau guy.

but then again, it was fair la.

we weren't as ready as they are.

and then comes 1st july.

aaaa!!!

the most important event of the year!

kedah state band competition 2009.

came to skool at 7.30.

warm up and everything.

and then we all sat down and arif, wendy, k.kina and i were giving 'inspirational' talks to the juniors.

we got on the bus at 9.

arrived at 11.

settled down and stuff.

took our instruments out to warm up.

waiting and waiting and waiting...

it's 2 pm.

check uniform.

saw my patient with a video camera shooting the band.

after we were checked,

went out, gave more inspirational talks.

and then we went in (we were the first team to perform).

started out with balqis.

the formation was super neat, no mistakes.

but the song was a little bit flat.

no time to tune.

and then MTA.

it was the best we have done!

and then.....

jeng jeng jeng...

havana!

k.aina's solo was wooohoooo!

and then everything started to go really really cool with no mistakes.

the song was really really good.

kaki semua sama.

and then my soli.

i couldn't reach up high, so i played the harmony and fiqa played the melody.

but it was really really good!

ms edna said it was beautiful.

woohoo!

and then everything goes correctly.

even the f horn section!!!

the drum solo.

everyone was cheering!

i salute zaf, hanisah and emilia because their 'li fa ri, do so fa' was the best they have ever done!

it was the best!

so we were watching the other skools after that.

ibrahim - not afraid of them that much.

che tom - the sound is good, but too many mistakes.

kj! - whoaaa! they have improved a lot!

pendang - no mistakes at all; song and formation.

at that point,

we know that it was either us or pendang.

che tom was out of the picture.

last year's champ wasn't that much of a champ this year.

then....

the results.

best preparation - che tom.

best drum major - kj.

third place - che tom.

second place - SBS BAND!!!

first place - pendang.

we were happy!

really really happy.

no one was sad at all.

this is because we have achieved what i said right after last year's result,

which was '2009, che tom mati!'.

and guess what!

in 2009, che tom mmg mati pon!!!!!

yayyyy!!!!

pendang deserved to win.

but 2010, SBS BAND will rise again!
